Allium 'Ping Pong'

Allium 'Ping Pong' is a playful and distinctive ornamental onion that blooms in June–July with nearly spherical flower heads of pure white. The small, star-shaped flowers form tight, symmetrical globes that sit high on slender, upright stems, seeming to float above the garden like glowing ping pong balls—hence the cheerful name. Reaching a height of about 70–100 cm, its light, airy growth habit makes 'Ping Pong' a beautiful addition among grasses, perennials, and other bulbs, where it adds both structure and height.

Even after blooming, the dried seed heads remain highly decorative, extending the plant’s visual appeal well into late summer. A modern classic with both charm and lightness.
