Anemone 'Mistral® Milka'

Note: This variety originates from our skilled breeder in Italy and is not frost-tolerant. Order now and plant in spring – or pre-sprout it indoors or in a frost-free greenhouse over winter. This extends the flowering season and brings blooms as early as early spring.

Anemone 'Mistral Milka' is a delicate and graceful variety from the refined Mistral series, known for its large flowers and silky-soft shades. It blooms from March with broad, poppy-like flowers in a soft, milky lavender tone – often with a light pearlescent sheen and subtle depth of colour towards the centre. In the middle, a dark, almost black stigma is surrounded by violet-blue stamens, creating an elegant contrast.

The plant reaches about 20–30 cm in height and stands on strong, upright stems, making it ideal for both cut flowers and planting in pots or garden beds. 'Mistral Milka' brings a calm, romantic expression to the garden and pairs beautifully with white, pink, or silvery tones. A refined anemone with a dreamy and harmonious colour palette.

It can be planted in both spring and autumn, but it is frost-sensitive. We recommend overwintering it in a frost-free greenhouse or covering it well with spruce branches or garden fleece during frost.
