Anemone 'Mistral® Pale'

Note: This variety originates from our skilled breeder in Italy and is not frost-tolerant. Order now and plant in spring – or pre-sprout it indoors or in a frost-free greenhouse over winter. This extends the flowering season and brings blooms as early as early spring.

Anemone 'Mistral Pale' is a delicate and sophisticated variety from the exclusive Mistral series, created to bring calm and elegance to the spring garden. It blooms from March with large flowers in a very pale, almost translucent pink to ivory-white shade – often with a faint blush at the centre that gradually fades across the broad, slightly ruffled petals.

The centre is marked by a dark, almost black stigma surrounded by violet-blue stamens, creating a subtle and refined contrast. The plant grows to about 20–30 cm in height and carries its blooms on strong stems, ideal for both cutting and planting in pots or soft spring borders. 'Mistral Pale' is a poetic anemone – airy, pure, and full of grace.

It can be planted in both spring and autumn, but it is frost-sensitive. We recommend overwintering it in a frost-free greenhouse or covering it well with spruce branches or garden fleece during frost.
