Anemone 'Mistral® Rarity'

Note: This variety originates from our skilled breeder in Italy and is not frost-tolerant. Order now and plant in spring – or pre-sprout it indoors or in a frost-free greenhouse over winter. This extends the flowering season and brings blooms as early as early spring.

Anemone 'Mistral Rarity' is an exclusive and striking variety from the Italian Mistral series, known for its unique colour play and luxurious flowers. The centre is bold and dark, surrounded by deep blue-black stamens, creating a vivid contrast against the soft and shifting petals. It blooms from March with large flowers in a fascinating mix of purple, pink, and pale lavender tones, often with subtle, irregular transitions and a watercolour-like effect that varies from bloom to bloom.

The plant reaches about 35–40 cm in height and stands on strong, upright stems – perfect for cutting or for elegant displays in borders and containers. 'Mistral Rarity' lives up to its name: a true rarity in the garden, balancing wild beauty and refined character with effortless grace.

It can be planted in both spring and autumn, but it is frost-sensitive. We recommend overwintering it in a frost-free greenhouse or covering it well with spruce branches or garden fleece during frost.
