Anemone 'Mistral® Salmone'

Note: This variety originates from our skilled breeder in Italy and is not frost-tolerant. Order now and plant in spring – or pre-sprout it indoors or in a frost-free greenhouse over winter. This extends the flowering season and brings blooms as early as early spring.

Anemone Mistral 'Salmone' is a captivating and warm-toned variety from the exclusive Mistral series, known for its large flowers and refined colour nuances. Flowering begins in March with broad, silky petals in a gentle apricot-pink to salmon-pink shade, often with a pearlescent sheen and subtle depth of colour toward the centre.

The dark centre, surrounded by deep blue-black stamens, creates a beautiful contrast with the light, warm petals and enhances the elegant poppy-like shape of the blooms. The plant reaches about 20–30 cm in height and carries its flowers on strong, upright stems, making it ideal for both cutting and planting in containers or beds. 'Mistral Salmone' brings softness, warmth, and an exclusive tone to the garden – a rare and alluring beauty with modern finesse.

It can be planted in both spring and autumn, but it is frost-sensitive. We recommend overwintering it in a frost-free greenhouse or covering it well with spruce branches or garden fleece during frost.
