Anemone 'Mistral® Tigre'

Note: This variety originates from our skilled breeder in Italy and is not frost-tolerant. Order now and plant in spring – or pre-sprout it indoors or in a frost-free greenhouse over winter. This extends the flowering season and brings blooms as early as early spring.

Anemone 'Mistral Tigre' is a spectacular and rarely seen variety from the Italian Mistral series, impressing with its dramatic and artistic colour play. It flowers from March with large blooms in white or pale pink, dramatically adorned with deep red to wine-red flames, streaks, or speckles that vary from flower to flower. Each bloom is unique – a living watercolour with a wild yet sophisticated expression.

The centre is deep and dark, surrounded by blue-black stamens that enhance the contrast and add depth to the flower. The plant reaches about 20–30 cm in height and stands on strong stems, making it perfect for cutting as well as for planting in containers or beds. 'Mistral Tigre' is an anemone with artistic edge and strong personality – unpredictable, captivating, and full of character.

It can be planted in both spring and autumn, but it is frost-sensitive. We recommend overwintering it in a frost-free greenhouse or covering it well with spruce branches or garden fleece during frost.
