Anemone 'Mr. Fokker'

Anemone 'Mr. Fokker' is an elegant spring anemone that blooms in April–May with deep blue, almost violet flowers that shine with a silky softness. Each bloom is simply and openly formed with broad, gently wavy petals and a striking dark center of blue-black stamens, creating a beautiful contrast. The color has a cool intensity that shifts with the light—from bright blue in sunshine to velvety dark in shade.

The plant grows to about 25–30 cm tall and features finely divided foliage that forms an airy green base. 'Mr. Fokker' is ideal for both containers and flower beds, where it adds depth and calm to the spring garden with its refined color and classic form.

It can be planted in either spring or autumn but is sensitive to frost. We therefore recommend overwintering it in a frost-free greenhouse or covering it well with spruce branches or garden fleece during frosty conditions.
