Dahlia 'Thomas A. Edison'

A truly impressive dahlia, and one of our absolute favourites. Some flowers stand the test of time, and this Dahlia ‘Thomas A. Edison’ is one such flower. Since 1929, when it was introduced, the eye-catching Dahlia ‘Thomas Edison’ has adorned with its huge and magnificent deep magenta-purple flowers.

This decorative dahlia has fully double flowers up to 20 cm in diameter, supported by relatively thin but strong, robust stems and the plant grows to a height of 90-120 cm.  ‘Thomas A. Edison’ is relatively early flowering, so with regular flower picking, you can expect a wealth of flowers throughout the summer.
