Anemone 'Admiral'

Anemone 'Admiral' blooms in May with large, single-petaled flower heads in an intense pink hue. The petals are broad and gently rounded with a silky surface that catches the light and adds vivid depth to the flower. The center is almost black, surrounded by a ring of deep blue-black stamens that highlight the bold color with dramatic contrast. The plant reaches about 30 cm in height with characteristically divided foliage and strong stems that make it especially suitable for cutting. 'Admiral' brings a classic, almost theatrical elegance to the garden—striking, confident, and impossible to overlook in the spring border.

They can be planted in both spring and autumn, but they are sensitive to frost. We recommend overwintering them in a frost-free greenhouse or covering them well with spruce branches or garden fleece when frost is expected.
