Anemone 'Levante® Rosa'

Note: This variety originates from our skilled breeder in Italy and is not frost-tolerant. Order now and plant in spring – or pre-sprout it indoors or in a frost-free greenhouse over winter. This extends the flowering season and brings blooms as early as early spring.

Anemone 'Levante Rosa' is a graceful and romantic variety from the refined Italian Levante series, known for its large flowers, sturdy stems and long-lasting blooms. It flowers from March with silky, poppy-like flowers in a soft rosy shade, often with subtle colour depth toward the centre and a beautiful contrast from the dark, blue-black ring of stamens.

The petals are broad and gently ruffled, giving the flower a lively yet calm appearance. Reaching a height of about 20–30 cm and supported by strong stems, 'Levante Rosa' is ideal as an elegant cut flower or a soft-hued accent in containers or spring beds. A sophisticated anemone with a poetic presence – perfect for those who seek a calm yet expressive focal point in the garden.

It can be planted in both spring and autumn, but it is frost-sensitive. We recommend overwintering in a frost-free greenhouse or covering well with spruce branches or garden fleece when frost is expected.
