Anemone 'Sylphide'

Anemone 'Sylphide' is a captivating spring anemone that blooms in May with large, single-flowered heads in an intense cyclamen pink. The petals are broad, gently wavy, and silk-matte, giving the flower a vibrant glow and an elegant expression. At the center, a dense ring of dark violet-black stamens creates a dramatic contrast with the bright petals.

The plant reaches about 25–30 cm in height and features fresh, finely divided foliage that forms a light and lush base beneath the blooms. 'Sylphide' is perfect for both containers and borders, where it brings a burst of brilliant color and a touch of French finesse to the spring garden.

It can be planted in either spring or autumn but is sensitive to frost. We therefore recommend overwintering it in a frost-free greenhouse or covering it well with spruce branches or garden fleece during frosty periods.
