Ranunculus 'Elegance® Salmon'

**NOTE:** This variety originates from our skilled breeder in Italy and is not frost-tolerant. Order now and plant in spring – or start it indoors or in a frost-free greenhouse over the winter. This gives a longer flowering season and blooms already from early spring.

Ranunculus Elegance® 'Salmon' is a captivating variety from the renowned Italian Elegance® series, known for its large, perfectly formed blooms and silky petals. It flowers in spring with densely filled blooms in a warm apricot-pink shade, blending salmon, peach, and rose tones – a colour that shifts beautifully in sunlight and brings a gentle glow to the garden.

The petals are tightly layered in a spiral, creating a rose-like, compact shape with a luxurious expression. The plant reaches about 30–40 cm in height and stands steadily on strong stems, making it particularly well-suited for cut flowers, pots, and elegant spring plantings. 'Elegance Salmon' brings warmth, softness, and modern refinement to the garden – a richly coloured ranunculus with grace and character.

Ranunculus are frost-sensitive and should be lifted in autumn before the frost sets in. The tubers must be stored frost-free and can be replanted the following year. Alternatively, they can remain in the ground and be protected with spruce branches, garden fleece, or dry leaves to avoid frost damage.

If planted in autumn, they should either be well covered or overwinter in a frost-free greenhouse.
