Tulip 'Annika'

'Tulip 'Annika'' is a graceful and early-flowering botanical tulip that brings a touch of wild beauty to the spring garden. It blooms in March–April with 2–5 small, star-shaped flowers per bulb in soft shades of peachy pink and ivory white. As the flowers mature, their colours deepen into warm fuchsia or cinnamon pink, and at the centre of each bloom is a striking dark purple to almost black blotch that adds dramatic contrast to the pale petals.

The plant reaches about 10–20 cm in height and has a light, upright habit with narrow, grass-like foliage. 'Annika' thrives best in full sun and well-drained soil, making it ideal for rock gardens, containers, or as a naturalised feature in grass or under shrubs. It is perennial and has a strong tendency to spread, making it a reliable and lasting joy in the garden.
