Description
Narcissus 'Orangery' is an exquisite and slightly unusual daffodil that blends classic elegance with a touch of drama. The flower opens with large, pure white petals surrounding a distinctive, deeply folded cup in warm apricot-orange—almost like a rosette or fan set at the heart of a white flame.
This variety belongs to the Split-cup group, where the trumpet is divided into segments that unfold, giving the flower its signature, almost orchid-like appearance. 'Orangery' blooms in April and reaches a height of about 35–45 cm—stately and striking without being showy. It thrives in both sun and partial shade and is especially well suited to formal borders, containers, or as a dramatic accent in spring flower arrangements.
'Orangery' is a daffodil with edge and character—a choice for those who appreciate the classic, but with an unexpected and artistic twist.
