Narcissus 'Quail'

Narcissus 'Quail' is a vibrant, richly colored miniature gem among daffodils. Its blooms are intensely deep golden and sweetly fragrant, with slightly reflexed petals and a short, compact cup in the same brilliant hue—like little glowing lanterns in early spring. This variety belongs to the Jonquilla group, known for producing multiple flowers per stem and a strong, sweet citrus scent.

'Quail' typically bears two to three flowers on each stem, which grows to about 30–35 cm tall, and it blooms in April–May, a bit later than many other daffodils—perfect for extending the season. It thrives in both sun and partial shade and is well suited to everything from containers and perennial borders to more naturalistic plantings. Its vivid color and fragrance also make it an excellent cut flower.
