Ipheion 'Jessie'

'Jessie' blooms from April with star-shaped flowers in a rich, deep blue shade – darker than most other ipheion varieties. Each plant grows to 10–15 cm in height and produces several flowers per stem. The blooming period can last up to 6–8 weeks and often begins earlier than many other spring bulbs.

The leaves are narrow and grass-like and release a light garlic scent when touched. The plant spreads slowly over time and reliably returns year after year. 'Jessie' thrives in sun or light shade, requires well-drained soil, and is resistant to deer and rabbits. An easy and long-lasting spring bloomer for borders, containers, or edging.
