Ipheion uniflorum 'Blue Wisley'

‘Blue Wisley’ blooms in April–May with star-shaped flowers in a soft blue-lilac hue. Each flower has six pointed petals and a faint scent, and the plant reaches a height of about 10–15 cm. It is well suited to the front of borders, rock gardens, and containers.

The leaves are narrow and grass-like and may give off a light garlic scent when touched. This variety spreads slowly over time, forming dense clumps that return reliably each year. ‘Blue Wisley’ thrives in sun or light shade and well-drained soil – a simple and dependable spring flower with gentle colours and a delicate structure.
