Iris Reticulata 'Alida'

Iris 'Alida' blooms as early as February–March with large, clear blue flowers on short stems. The upright petals are a lighter blue, while the downward-curving falls are a deeper blue with distinct white and yellow markings in the centre. It's a striking and refreshing colour that brightens the garden when almost nothing else is in bloom.

The plants reach about 10–15 cm in height and are perfect for pots, rock gardens, or the front of a border. It thrives in well-drained soil and copes well even in cold winters. 'Alida' spreads slowly over time and returns reliably year after year with its bright blue hue and compact, elegant growth.
