Chionodoxa forbesii 'Pink Giant'

Chionodoxa forbesii 'Pink Giant' is one of the earliest and most charming flowers of spring – a delicate little beauty that lights up the garden with its star-shaped blooms in soft pastel pink. Each cluster holds several upward-facing flowers with a paler, almost white centre, creating a pearlescent shimmer in the sunlight.

'Pink Giant' blooms from February into March and reaches a height of about 10–15 cm. With its compact growth and fine, grass-like foliage, it is ideal for naturalising in lawns, under shrubs, or as part of a low spring border, where it forms dense carpets of colour year after year.
