Description
Glory-of-the-snow Chionodoxa 'Forbesii' is one of the first and most beloved flowers of spring—a small star in the garden that lights up the landscape while the ground is still cold and damp from winter. Its flowers are star-shaped and bright blue with a striking white center, giving them a fresh, almost sparkling appearance.
It blooms as early as March and reaches a height of 10–15 cm. Each stem carries several flowers, and the plant’s compact growth makes it ideal for creating beautiful floral carpets in the garden. It spreads quietly and reliably in lawns, under shrubs, or among perennials, forming dense drifts of blue stars year after year.
Lovely on its own, it becomes especially effective when paired with white or pink varieties for a soft, natural play of color.
