Hyacinthoides hispanica 'Excelsior'

Spanish bluebell 'Excelsior' (Hyacinthoides hispanica 'Excelsior') is a bold and energetic spring plant that brings vibrancy and rich color to the garden at the transition between spring and summer. Its bell-shaped, deep blue-violet flowers hang closely along tall, sturdy stems, forming striking flower spikes that capture both light and movement in the garden.

It blooms in April–May and grows up to 20–30 cm tall—one of the most upright and densely flowering varieties in its family. The foliage is strap-shaped and fresh green, creating a lovely ground layer beneath the strong flower stems.
