Description
Scilla litardierei – also known as amethyst scilla – is a graceful and natural-looking spring bulb that flowers in May–June with airy, star-shaped blooms in vivid blue-violet shades. The flowers are arranged in loose, pyramidal clusters on slender stems and open gradually from the bottom up, prolonging the flowering period and adding a dynamic feel.
The plant reaches about 20–30 cm in height and has narrow, fresh green foliage that enhances its botanical charm. Scilla litardierei is especially well suited for naturalising in lawns, beneath shrubs, or in more wild-style plantings, where its lightness and delicate elegance can unfold freely. A modest yet poetic bulb that brings a touch of early summer blue to the garden.
