Description
*Scilla siberica*, also known as Siberian squill or Russian scilla, is one of the most beloved early spring bloomers – a small but vivid burst of color that brightens the garden with its characteristic sky-blue flowers. The bell-shaped, slightly nodding blooms often appear in clusters of two to three per stem, creating an elegant and lively effect.
It flowers from March to April and reaches a height of around 10–15 cm. *Scilla siberica* spreads readily by both seed and bulb, gradually forming dense blue carpets in lawns, under shrubs, or in borders. The foliage is narrow and fresh green and dies back shortly after flowering, making it ideal for naturalistic plantings.
