NOTE: This variety originates from our skilled breeder in Italy and is not frost-tolerant. Order now and plant in spring – or start it indoors or in a frost-free greenhouse over the winter. This gives a longer flowering season and blooms already from early spring.

Ranunculus 'Elegance Pastello Striato' mix is a captivating mix of large-flowered ranunculus from the refined Italian Elegance series, selected for their soft pastel tones and distinctively striped petals. The flowers come in pastel shades – all adorned with fine, irregular streaks or flames in darker hues, creating a painterly, hand-painted effect.

The blooms are fully double and rose-like, with silky petals arranged in a perfect spiral, carried on strong, upright stems about 30–40 cm tall. 'Elegance Pastello Striato' is ideal for both bouquets and romantic spring plantings, where its vibrant colour play and elegant form bring a soft, dreamy expression. A refined and well-balanced mix that blends variation with harmony.

For best results, we recommend soaking the ranunculus tubers in water for about 2 hours before planting.

Ranunculus are frost-sensitive and should be lifted in autumn before frost arrives. The tubers must be stored in a frost-free place and can be replanted the following year. Alternatively, they can remain in the ground and be covered with spruce branches, garden fleece, or fallen leaves to protect them from frost. If planted in autumn, they should either be covered or overwintered in a frost-free greenhouse.
